The LRM-10 instrument can precisely measure contact resistance on circuit breakers, switches, bus bar joints, exothermic joints, welded joints, power fuses and other low resistance devices in presence of intense magnetic fields.

The output DC current is automatically adjusted between 5 mA and 10 Amps for optimal operation.

The LRM-10 uses the 4-terminal method of resistance measurement to eliminate the effects of lead resistance. A current is injected at each end of the joint to be tested. A separate pair of cables are used to measure the voltage on each side of the tested joint to calculate the resistance. This method eliminates the effects of lead resistance.

The built-in microprocessor eliminates errors caused by induction and parasitic voltages.

Test results are displayed in large font on the backlit LCD screen.
